BIO

Laurel Harduar Morano, PhD, MPH joined MSU’s Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in March 2023 as an Associate Professor. She is conducting research in the area of occupational and environmental injuries and illnesses, including acute work-related fatalities. Dr. Harduar Morano comes to MSU with 18 years of experience in applied public health predominantly working within state and federal governments. Her area of expertise is occupational and environmental epidemiology specializing in disease/injury surveillance and informatics. Dr. Harduar Morano holds a PhD in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MPH in biostatistics from Boston University.
